Abstract
The incomprehension of the contemporary world, and especially of the social and economic relations which today's civilization is based, does not lead to effective adjustment of the target performance, but unfortunately, it produces all that we wanted to avoid; recession, unemployment, absence of perspective, existential risk, ethical and emotional degradation. Not understanding the structural basics and legality of the functioning of the social and economic system is a result of ignorance and numerous dogmas and prejudice, which limits the possibilities of individuals, business entities and the country. Fundamental insight about changed circumstances is important for ideological and functional adjustment of the new vision of structuring the social, political and economic system. In the introductory part we analyze the key theoretical and methodological propositions and identify the contradictions faced by contemporary economics, all with the aim of addressing the significance and need to seek answers to whether or not, economic science is subordinated to the ideological framework !? In the second part we analyze the key performance of economics education with the aim of addressing the importance of hypothesis which is that withouta systematical approach of the realization of fundamental and applied scientific research projects, there are no conditions for the development of staff without which there is no parity, nor quality education of economists. Concluding considerations address the dangers arising from circular thinking: because of the absence of fundamental and applied scientific research projects there is no critical mass of reference staff and usable knowledge, because of the lack of reference staff and knowledge there is not enough quality scientific research. We believe that a formulated approach is of utmost importance for building a functional and modern education system that will contribute to the growth of employment with optimum valorization of its own material and human resources.
