Abstract

COVID-9 pandemic has affected almost all aspects of work, including private and public sector. Way we do the work, sell and buy, communicate and learn has significantly changed and based on opinion of some authors, it changed permanently. The process of the digital workplace transformation is complex and multidisciplinary and it has been manifested in several specific sectors among which is education. Education has accelerated its digitization and it is one of the sectors that has significantly changed a way of functioning as a direct effect of the pandemic. The paper provide a brief systematic literature review, based on search of key databases of scientific publication supported by case studies. Bases that are included are: WoS, Scopus, IEEE and SpingerLink. Keywords that are used are COVID-19 and digital transformation. Further filtration included language, timeframe and thematic criteria. Systematic ground for the review was a methodology developed by prof. Barbara Kitchenham. Paper also provides a set of recommendations based on the review of the current literature in this field as well as analysis of the shortcomings of the digital workplace transformation in education sector. It also provides possible directions of the further research connected to digital transformation in this and connected sectors.
