Abstract

Small business enterprises exist in almost all fields of economy. In accordance with the economic parameters, these companies have a small scope of business activities, small invested capital and a few employees. Structurally they fit in the economic space not covered by the medium-sized and large business enterprises and they carry out the business activities which are not profitable for larger business enterprises. Social networks development and ever higher number of their users enable fast and simple communication, transfer of huge amounts of data at large distances, simple publishing and updating of multimedia documents and their continuous global availability, digital delivery of goods and services, direct payment through internet, creation of virtual organisations, etc. Small and medium-sized enterprises can present themselves or meet customers with the way they work and their products, they can learn the wishes and expectations of current and future customers, to generate ideas in record time. The aim of this work is to point out the importance of the social networks that they realize on the promotion and improvement of the business of small and medium enterprises.
