Abstract

Leadership is one of the topics that is in the center of attention, viewed both from the aspect of theory and from the aspect of practice. One of the theories of leadership that has been extensively researched is leadership theory that encompasses transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles, as well as leadership outcomes that are reflected in leader effectiveness, leadership satisfaction, and added effort. Organizational civic behavior and commitment of employees is a construction that affects almost all parts of human resource management. If every part of human resources is not solved in an appropriate way, then employees fail to fully dedicate themselves to business activities, their commitment to the organization decreases, which has a negative impact on the entire business. The aim of this paper is to influence the connection between the mentioned leadership styles on organizational civic behavior and employee commitment. The subject of the paper is the analysis of previous research on the concepts of transformational, transactional and laissez-faire leadership on organizational civic behavior and commitment of employees.
