ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE ERA OF DIGITAL MARKETING

Abstract

People of today face major obstacles. The crisis has become a global phenomenon, and every business entity uses different ways to fight for its piece of the market. The New Age Entrepreneur is innovative, enterprising, educated, and able to use all the advantages of modern technologies - primarily information technologies. Social media is changing the means entrepreneurs communicate with their customers and provide their services. The concept of traditional marketing has been largely abandoned with the advent of the Internet because the Internet has enabled the emergence of a new segment in marketing - digital marketing. Digital marketing enables communication with customers using e-mail, digital panels, social networks, mobile, and search technologies. Thus, the possibility opens up for the entrepreneur to assess which communication channel is the most adequate for the target market segment. Thanks to digital marketing, modern entrepreneurs are able to continuously communicate with their customers, monitor their needs and reactions, and accordingly create their offers on the market.
