Environmental protection through the management system of any tourist destination should include all aspects of environmental protection, which can have an impact on the business of the hotel company in any way. New international standards require the indentification and analysis of environmental aspects based on the assessment of risks and opportunities. In this context, in this paper, the elements of the development of a certain model whit methods of the influence on environmental aspects on the basis of risk assessment are given. The proposed model for evaluating the significance of environmental aspects was applied to the destination Gamzigradska Banja, Felix Romuliana, the village of Gamyigrad and parts of the town of Zajecar. The applied mrthodology was for „Designing the environmental management system in Gamzigradska Banja, in accordance with international standards, which gave appropriate results“. Apart from the elements of model development, the optimization of some methods that can be used to evaluate the impact of environmental aspects is also offered. The paper also analyzed the criteria for assessing the frequency that appear from the environmental aspect of the destination and the business of hotel companies. The basic goal of these short studies is to point out the place and importance of ecological managing numerous risks in business. The following methods were used in considering the determined research subject, aligned with the aim of the work: the method of analysis and synthesis, the method of induction and deduction, the method comparasion and analogy, as well as method of description with an insight into the literature and numerous cases from practice. The results of short research and conclusion are given in separate parts of the paper.
